Covid Policy

Style Gorgeous is operating as a services business consistent with the COVID-19 Protection Framework (the ‘traffic light system’). 

To give you an idea of what this means for us, essentially we operate in a similar way to health and disability services and in-home client consultation services. 

Our service rarely involves close contact. Close contact is 15 minutes or more of physical contact or close proximity of less than one metre per person. Usually, we work with you at some distance and any physical contact is momentary while we make a quick adjustment here or there. 

What this means for you for styling is that we will keep one metre apart most of the time. We will also make sure we’re not in a change room together for more than 15 minutes (although I can’t think why we would ever take that long :D). 

  • We keep records of our sessions for contact tracing purposes through our calendars. 
  • We encourage you to use the QR codes provided by stores when you are working in person with one of our stylists.
  • All Style Gorgeous staff are vaccinated.
  • We wear masks as required, for example in retail stores. 
  • We respect distancing requirements and avoid close contact.

If for some unexpected reason your situation requires us to be in close contact, we will take additional precautions:

  • At RED level: 
    • We ask that you declare if you have had any COVID symptoms lately, so that the session could be rearranged.
    • We will wear a medical-grade mask
    • We will require you to wear a mask
    • We will need to sight and verify your Vaccine Pass
  • At ORANGE level: 
    • We ask that you declare if you have had any COVID symptoms lately, so that the session could be rearranged.
    • We will wear a mask
    • We will encourage you to wear a mask
    • We will need to sight and verify your Vaccine Pass
  • At GREEN level:
    • There will be no additional restrictions

We have updated our cancellation policy to allow for COVID. If you need to cancel for reasons of sickness, you now have six weeks to reschedule to avoid the cancellation fee. So if you think you might have COVID symptoms, please don’t hesitate to let us know so we can reschedule.
